ok, here we go:

but can we first discuss, which keyword we should use?
maybe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet#Varieties_of_Ethernet
so:
type: 1000BASE-T
and the wifi-case:
type: 80211a/n
subtype: (spam-protected) (which means 5200 mhz with 10 mhz channel width)
maybe the subtype is overkill, but at least there must be a way to
distinguish between 5 + 2.4ghz 8-)
