[Interop-dev] Network Device Config JSON Schema

Hey everyone,

I believe the geolocation data to not be part of a schema that focuses
on the configuration of a device.

My initial point was to define a simple JSON schema that could be passed
from apps to libraries, it should be easy to implement libraries that
understand this schema and can convert it to low level objects in their
respective languages and frameworks.

We should discuss the map, json-ld, API in separate steps, iteration
after iteration.

With the network-device-config-schema I was not trying to define an API,
nor a model that could best represent devices on a map, we can do these
things in successive steps.

We can do everything and we can do it fast if we focus on one thing at
time. I can dedicate time to this and I can collaborate with you in
getting it done.

Even not all of us implement everything it in our respective apps
straightaway, it would be still useful if just 2 or 3 did it, then
anybody can catch up later on.

When we get this network device config schema thing done, we can get to
the next step according to our shared needs.

My point is: we are talking about a lot of good ideas, things we should
definitely have, the sooner the better, and I think that to get them
done we have to start working collaboratively on small things and get
them done fast, one by one or in parallel if we have enough work-force,
and after a while we will have created a shared understanding, some
implementations and documentation.

I'm working on a new synthesis right now, stay tuned for my next email.
I'll try to recap what I've been able to summarize from all your input.

Thank you for the feedback.
