I believe that each interface can have multiple ways of obtaining IP
addresses, some dynamic, some static (as a fallback for example). So
yes, this is a possible configuration.
But I don't like having it all under a section called "ip". It should be
called something like "networks" or "addressing". And each addressing
section should then have something like an explicit "proto" field that
specifies either "static", "dhcp", "pppoe", etc. together with
proto-specific fields (in case of a static protocol, fields like "ip"
and "gateway").
