Seit heute ist eine DNS Testzone (Forward und Reverse) aktiviert.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Es sei ausdrücklich festgehalten, was jetzt läuft ist ein Test bzw. ein Provisorium! Die Art und Weise der derzeitigen Implementierung skaliert nicht gut und die zahlreichen manuellen Eintragungen sind auf die Dauer administrativ nicht beherrschbar.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Die Zukunft wird sein, dass IPv6 DNS Einträge über die neue Common Node DB, Redeemer2 oder wie immer das kommende Tool heißen wird, automatisch erzeugt werden. Das macht Sinn und würde auch für eine große Zahl von Einträgen skalieren.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Der Grund warum das derzeitige Provisorium überhaupt gemacht wurde, war das „Henne-Ei“ Problem zu brechen. Denn bis das neue Verwaltungstool voll einsatzbereit ist, wird vermutlich noch etwas dauern. Andererseits bereitet IPv6 OHNE Namensauflösung massive Kopfschmerzen und man kann’s de facto nicht sinnvoll nutzen.
