Actually, it uses proactive protocol. This tye of protocols cannot
perform well in dynamic networks where mobile node move with high speed (e.g. 4mps) in the network, because
it is necessary to update
routing tables for many times. This imposes high network overhead on the network.<br>

i don´t know how often olsr updates the routing information in our
configuration, maybe Aaron can shed some light on this.<br>
I think the primary question here is on the physical layer, how you
keep clients connected to the WiFi. I don´t suppose your clients are
moving around one omnidirectional antenne and stay within its range
;-) So depending on your clients you might need an antenna every
~100 meters, which would mean a routing update every ~25secs, which
is not that often... But why have routing clients in the first
place? If you build such a network it is probably better to keep it
switched and maybe have a meshed backbone. What´s your use case?<br>
